Welcome to Costa Rica - Pura Vida!

Welcome to what is going to be another amazing year of Watkinson kids adventuring and learning through the beautiful country of Costa Rica. This will be our trip blog for parents, friends, and fans to live the experience with us as we venture through some of the tropics' most beautiful spots and learn about the wonders of the rainforest. Here you can leave comments which we will be reading to our travelers each night. We will also have some of the kids write blog entries and fill it with pictures from our days activities.

    I had so much fun, doing things that I never imagined that I would do. I went snorkeling and I love the food. We are going to cave today.

    It has been so much fun and I have only done 1 day of activities. Yesterday we went snorkeling and we swam on the beach. Today we are going to hike to go to the waterfall and repel. Today will be a great day and I bet all the other ones will as well.

    I can't wait for the day up ahead. We'll swim in pools, rappel the waterfall, and sleep behind it. I hope the rest of the days up ahead are just as fun as the past two days.

    Good Morning Everyone.

    The gang is all together (great story about that another time) and are awaiting breakfast before we head out for our hike and sleeping behind the waterfall. We have enjoyed our time at beautiful La Cusinga including watching the sun set over the ocean and fantastic meals. Will try to make sure everyone blogs before we head out. Thanks for allowing your children to share this adventure with me.

    Great times on the Pacific Friday! The kids were great all day swimming, playing, learning Spanish and especially trying new foods. Adventure on !

    After two long days at the airport I finally made it, it was so worth it! Right now we are getting ready to head to the dreadful hike to the cave. Wish us luck.
